In Spring 2016, I graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Bachelor of Arts degree – emphasis in Theatre Performance. During my time at UMKC, I performed in 13 productions – nine of which I was cast in a principle role, including four leading roles. Throughout June-December 2014, I worked as a production intern under curator and director Heidi Van at the Fishtank Performance Studio in the KC Crossroads Art District. Since then, I have starred in two original plays, performed at the White Theater of the JKC, assistant directed “The Pirate Queen” at Lee’s Summit High School and am in pre-production to assistant direct Shakespeare’s “Comedy of Errors” at UMKC this fall.
This profession is not always easy. It takes more passion and commitment than one may realize. However, as your teacher, I pledge to support, guide, challenge and help you to forever strive to be your best, truest artist.
